My four month old loves this. He’s my third child, and he’s more interested in this activity center with piano than my other two were with their basic activity gyms (mat + toy arch only). I think the light up piano does the trick because he can lay on his tummy or side and stay entertained by it for a good 20 minutes or so. I’ve only had this for a few days, and he’s already fallen asleep watching and listening to the piano play.
Took a bit longer than I would have thought to assemble, and it is difficult to adjust the angle of the piano. Overall tho, it is a good quality product. Easy to clean, easy to move to different areas, toy bar moves and you can change when is hanging for toys. Pretty sturdy as it gets pulled on a lot. Mat can disconnect to be thrown in washer, and is decent quality.
my 2 month son hates to be put down he always is wanting to be held & is in love with this activity mat i can put him down without him crying. he laughs & smiled the whole time while laying on it. he loves looking @ himself so the mirror is awesome!! definitely worth it can even use it when he gets older! the piano has 3 different types from stage 1-2-3
If you're like me, you look for neutral baby items that look nice in your house. I have specifically chosen nearly every baby thing to make sure it doesn't completely ruin the decor and that my house isn't totally baby-fied. Unfortunately, this will not fit that criteria. I have seen many people's pictures with this toy, people requesting this for showers, on Facebook garage sale sites, etc. and I really tried to avoid buying it because of the colors (silly, sure, but I know there are other moms like me!) HOWEVER, I'm here to tell you it is so totally worth the primary color nightmares. Your baby will love this! My son interacts with this play mat so much more than he did with my beautiful, white Skip Hop cloud mat that I paid double for (and then ended up buying this anyway). The piano is great, he loves kicking around down there, and the bright toys catch his attention so much more than the white/pastel colored ones. I'm not sure how I became the person who would allow such a thing in my living room but here I am, and I definitely recommend this mat.
I purchased this for my baby for physical therapy time. It was very easy to assemble. The cleaning is simple since it is hard plastic and the fabric detaches easily to throw in the wash. The attachments are fun and can be arranged in any order you please. The piano comes with cute and fun music and different settings as the baby develops. We started using it in the laying position and tummy time, now we are using it in the sitting position and you can move the little rainbow with attachments to fit over the piano for more entertainment. My toddlers love removing the piano and using it on its own. Definitely a great investment due to the fact that it is multifunctional and grows with you baby.
